Most people would think meeting anyone at the bar is not a relationship that will last. Truth is, we were both just out for fun, not expecting to meet anyone. It was Easter weekend and spring break for Stefanie from school. Dan was there with a couple guy friends just going out for a drink. He hadn't been to this bar in months. Stefanie's friends wouldn't come with her to this bar, so she randomly went alone that night. She really wanted to check out this bar. Good thing she did. Stefanie was standing off to the side texting her friend Katie Tholen (a bridesmaid), when she heard a guy yelling at her. He said "Hey! Get off your phone and come sit down and talk to us!" Stefanie thought he seemed like an okay guy and went over to talk. They ended up talking all night! He even danced to a Luke Bryan song with her! (He doesn't like country). Stefanie drove him home at the end of the night. They exchanged numbers, kissed under a beautiful clear sky. The stars and moon were so bright! They talked and hung out a few times that next week. They started dating on April 12th, 2012.
